Process
DreamScheme Solutions employs a four-stage website development
lifecylce (WDLC). Any good web site involves careful planning, this
helps us identify potential risks ahead of time. Our WDLC includes
the following stages:
-
Specification
-
Development
-
Test
-
Deployment
Specification
During the Specification stage, DreamScheme Solutions meets with
the customer to obtain site concepts and requirements. DreamScheme
Solutions measures the customer's requirements against current design
trends to help the customer avoid creating a negatively perceived
website. Domain names and web hosting solutions are thoroughly discussed
so the customer knows what to expect.
Development
Using the specifications agreed upon by the customer, DreamScheme
Solutions sets about creating the website. Graphics are developed
and logos are created during this stage. Any issues that arise are
brought to the customer's attention if it will significantly impact
the original specifications. All work at this point is done by a
certified Web Developer.
Test
The test phase allows DreamScheme Solutions to fully brake- test
the customer's site before it is published. During this phase, links,
graphics, editorial issues, and functionality are thoroughly evaluated.
At this point, the customer is allowed to preview the site and test
it to their satisfaction. This gives the customer a chance to provide
feedback which can be incorporated into the site before it goes
live.
Deployment
Once DreamScheme Solutions and the customer are completely satisfied
with the finished website, DreamScheme Solutions publishes the website
to the predetermined web server under the domain name that the customer
has reserved. A copy of all source files are handed off to the customer,
while DreamScheme Solutions retains the master files for future
maintenance purposes. After a site has been deployed, customers
can contact DreamScheme Solutions to provide updates or other site
maintenance.
